SNT-TC-1A Examinations

Superior Quality NDE Services provides NDT examination services in full compliance with the ASNT SNT-TC-1A recommended practice for the qualification and certification of NDT personnel.

All examinations are developed, administered, and evaluated by certified Level III examiners to ensure technical accuracy, impartiality, and full compliance. SQNDE supports employers in qualifying NDT personnel efficiently and in accordance with SNT-TC-1A requirements—without unnecessary complexity or redundant testing.

Services include:

• General, Specific, and Practical Examinations
  Complete testing for each NDT method and technique, following SNT-TC-1A guidelines—requiring only one test sample per method and technique for practical evaluation.
• Method-Specific Written Exams
  General and specific exams created from SQNDE’s controlled question banks and customized to your written practice, procedures, and component types.
• Practical Testing and Evaluation
  Hands-on evaluation using one representative specimen per method and technique to verify inspection proficiency and interpretation accuracy.
• Exam Control & Documentation
  Secure administration of all exams with controlled records maintained per SNT-TC-1A and your company’s certification procedures.
• Certification Support
  Review and validation of exam results to assist the employer in issuing certifications under their internal NDT certification program.

Service Terms

Pricing is per candidate and includes all three examination components (general, specific, and practical) for one method and one technique.
Each additional technique within the same method will incur an additional fee of $350. Level 3 Method Exam will incur an additional fee of $350.
All examinations are scheduled in advance, and documentation is issued directly to the employer upon completion.
