Responsible Level 3 Services - Three Methods

Superior Quality NDE Services provides complete Responsible Level III (RL3) oversight for three nondestructive testing (NDT) methods, in compliance with NAS 410, ASNT SNT-TC-1A, CP-189, and applicable prime and customer specifications.

Our RL3 service includes:

• Procedure Development & Approval
  Development, review, and authorization of method-specific NDT procedures, work instructions, and technique sheets encompassing all three designated methods to meet customer and prime requirements.
• Training & Examination
  Delivery of comprehensive training programs and qualification testing for three NDT methods, including development and administration of general, specific, and practical examinations (for all three designated methods). Training records are maintained in accordance with your written practice and applicable standards.
• Personnel Qualification & Certification
  Oversight of personnel qualification, certification approval, and compliance tracking for all three methods to ensure alignment with NAS 410 or SNT-TC-1A.
• Audit & Compliance Support
  Assistance with internal and external audits, audit preparation, corrective action implementation, and ongoing compliance documentation for all covered methods.
• Technical Consultation
  Continuous technical support for inspection, engineering, and quality staff across all three methods, ensuring accurate interpretation and proper implementation of customer and industry standards.
• Customer & Prime Interface
  Acting as your official Level III representative for all customer, prime, and audit-related communications involving any of the three designated methods.

Service Terms

This service is offered under a monthly retainer fee, which secures your organization priority access to SQNDE’s Responsible Level III resources and technical support.
The retainer covers baseline oversight, document control, and availability for consultation.
Additional charges may apply for training sessions, examinations, on-site visits, audits, or extensive document development depending on the scope and level of effort required.
